Lazy morning, and it was so hot that kids put on sunscreen
Jeff and Cecilia had arranged a birthday treat for Katherine and we all went into the Chinatown area of Brisbane for a fantastic Chinese lunch. Waitresses come around with trolleys full of food periodically and you pick what dish you want next.
This included chickens feet.
Then it was back home to catch up on blogs, the kids watched a video.
By then a cool wind had sprung up, so although sitting on the veranda was great, thoughts of the pool were not on the agenda, so Liz went for a walk on the beach with Jeff and Cecilia and Jim took Joseph to the play area 50 metres down the road.
In the evening Katherine enjoyed her first ever non home made birthday cake! Good, but not as good as her mums!
