- got up at 6am
- drove to Uluru
- stopped for a 5 minute camel ride on the way
- had a cold swim at the campground pool
- did a fantastic couple of walks in the Olgas watching the rocks change colour with the varying angles of the sun
- saw the sun set at Uluru (Ayres rock)
- saw some fantastic parrots
- enjoyed perfect weather - about 25 degrees
- debated whether to climb the rock or not, but the debate was ended because the rock was closed to climbing because of high winds
- collapsed exhausted into bed with threat of a 5.45am start tomorrow if we want to see sunrise at Uluru
Pictures (etc) to be added later.
Stayed at Ayres Rock Campground, Yulara (Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia)
